Liverpool could yet have trump card to play in race to sign Aston Villa's Jack Grealish

Liverpool could yet have a trump card to play in the chase for Jack Grealish, after Aston Villa’s interest in Sheyi Ojo was reported by goal.com.
The Sun claims that Liverpool are now in the race to sign Grealish, who is rated at £40 million by Villa.

But the Reds could have a chance of completing a swap deal for the attacking midfielder.
Ojo is believed to be on Villa’s radar this summer, with Steve Bruce keen to bring in the forward.

Liverpool should now seriously consider offering Ojo to Bruce, alongside a sizeable fee, as that could swing the race for Grealish in their favour.
The Reds are in competition with a number of teams for Grealish, but they could have a way to ensure everyone walks away from the transfer happy.

Ojo wouldn’t be a direct replacement for Grealish, but he could help Villa to cover for the loss of the attacking midfielder.
Ojo would offer Villa pace and skill in attack, and that would go some way to replacing the creativity that would be lost from Grealish’s departure.
