The Brazilian Number 1, who pushes out Manchester City’s Ederson Morales out of an international starting berth, is set to sign a €70million deal with Los Blancos, which would make him the most expensive goalkeeper in the history of the game.
Alisson’s excellent domestic performances between the sticks for Roma in Serie A were elevated by the Giallorossi’s remarkable run to the Champions League semi-finals, which has allowed some of Europe’s elite to come calling.
Real Madrid securing of Alisson, with the €70million a compromise between both Madrid and Liverpool’s initial bids of €60million and Roma’s valuation of €80million, would mark new manager and current Spain exile Julen Lopetegui’s first signing.
