Andy Robertson has revealed what Mo Salah told him about his 44 Liverpool goals

Liverpool fan favourite Andrew Robertson has given a brilliant insight into the mind of Mohamed Salah.
Salah joined from Roma last summer and has scored a record-breaking 44 goals in his debut campaign on Merseyside.
Sadly, his season ended on a sour note after coming off injured in the Champions League final defeat to Real Madrid.
Salah was included in Egypt's 23-man squad but he's currently in a race to be fit for the World Cup in Russia.
Egypt face Uruguay in their opening group game on June 15.
The Liverpool man won the Premier League Player of the Year award and broke the record for most goals in a 38-game league season.
Salah netted 44 times in all competitions but his Scottish teammate has revealed what Salah said to him about his goal tally.

Robertson on Salah

Salah is a very popular figure in the Liverpool dressing room and Robertson shared a conversation he had with the former Roma winger ahead of the Champions League final.
Most players would be delighted to score 44 goals in a season.

Speaking to talkSPORT, Robertson said: "The amount of goals he [Salah] scores is incredible, but the amount of chances he has...
“I think I spoke to him a couple of weeks ago about his goals and stuff, and he said to me ‘it should have been a lot more’."
That perfectly sums up why Salah is competing with Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi for the Ballon d'Or this year.
Robertson believes the Egyptian winger can achieve similar success to Ronaldo and Messi.

“He’s had some unbelievable chances so credit to him for getting in the positions, and that’s why he’s confident of scoring all the time, because he’s getting in the positions.
“It’s the way the gaffer wants him to play, so hopefully he can continue and really build on it and become one of the names alongside Messi and Ronaldo.
“They’ve done it for six or seven seasons and he’s just done it one. But I’ve got no doubt Salah can build on it and do it over that period of time.”
Will Salah be the man to end Ronaldo and Messi's dominance? Let us know what you think by leaving a comment below.
