Liverpool target Bundesliga superstar worth £70 million

Liverpool are reportedly interested in Bayern Leverkusen’s Leon Bailey, with any move for the 20-year-old worth in the region of £70 million.
In late May, Neil Jones reported that Liverpool want a “multi-functional forward” to provide both competition for the current front three and to offer an alternative should injury strike or in the event that Jürgen Klopp wants to rotate his squad.
Christian Pulisic and Wilfred Zaha have both been linked, with supporters particularly keen on the idea of the former becoming a Red.
However, Calcio Insider claim to have exclusive info, writing that Liverpool want to sign Bayer Leverkusen’s young flyer Leon Bailey.

From 25 Bundesliga starts last season, Bailey scored 9 goals and created 6 and given his creativity and ability to spark his side into action at the top end of the pitch, many wanted to see him go to the World Cup with England.
According to Calcio Insider, Liverpool are looking to get all summer transfers done “as quickly as possible” and with the Reds in the market for a versatile winger, Bailey is a target for Klopp.
Bailey is valued £70 million by Leverkusen and would require Liverpool to go big on a player that is relatively inexperienced.

While I believe, from the odd game I’ve seen Bailey play, he would be quite the coup but if he’s worth around £70m, I would rather see Liverpool move for Jan Oblak.
The Slovenian is a top goalkeeper and reports from Spain claim that Klopp has lodged an opening bid of £79m and is confident of having an offer accepted by Atletico Madrid this summer.
