Sadio Mane on those Real Madrid rumours and his Liverpool future

Liverpool's Sadio Mane (centre) celebrates scoring against Real Madrid in the Champions League final

Sadio Mane has declared himself “very happy” at Liverpool amid rumoured interest from “best team in the world” Real Madrid.
But the Senegal international refused to rule out a future move away from Anfield as he set his sights on winning the Champions League.
Mane was on target in the European Cup final against Real Madrid last month only for Jurgen Klopp's side to suffer a heartbreaking 3-1 defeat in Kiev.
In the aftermath, a report in France Football last week suggested Mane had agreed a deal in principle to move to Real Madrid before Zinedine Zidane's shock resignation as manager.
And when asked directly by Austrian newspaper Salzburger Nachrichten whether he was moving to Real Madrid, Mane said: “I am very happy in Liverpool and my contract will last for three more years.”
The next question asked if he was staying in Liverpool, to which Mane replied: “As I said, I'm happy in Liverpool.
“But you never know what will happen in the future. I want to win trophies, especially the Champions League.”

Of Liverpool's loss to Real, Mane added: “To be honest, this defeat was not easy to put away. The whole club worked hard for this Champions League title, but Real Madrid were the better team that day.
“We lost to the best team in the world. The defeat is but ticked off. Now it is time to play with Senegal a good and successful World Cup. That's my whole focus.”
