Sadio Mane speaks honestly about Liverpool future after Real Madrid rumours

Sadio Mane insists he is solely focused on life at Liverpool following tenuous rumours linking him to Real Madrid.

The Senegal forward became subject to unconfirmed speculation of interest from the Spanish giants following his superb display in May’s Champions League final defeat to his reported admirers.
He has since set his sights on at least three more years at Anfield, where he has surfaced as a leading influence in Jurgen Klopp’s mission to lift silverware during his time on Merseyside.
Mane enjoyed comfortably his most productive season in England over 2017/2018, registering 20 goals and eight assists as one third of Liverpool’s notorious front three.
It’s for his admirable consistency since arriving from Southampton in 2016 that Mane now occupies a place towards the top of the list of those in line for a lucrative new deal.

The 26-year-old proved an integral figure following the departure of Philippe Coutinho in January, evolving his game somewhat to serve as a more notable technician from deeper areas as a bonus to his explosiveness in behind the opposition defence.
Though Mohamed Salah dominated the headlines with his scoring records, Mane was arguably Liverpool’s top performing attacker over the latter stages of last season.
